For over a decade, I served as a Recruitment Specialist in one of Zimbabwe’s largest parastatals before moving into HR consultancy, where I participated in more than a thousand job interviews, negotiated remuneration packages, led job evaluations, and facilitated performance management processes. These experiences helped me understand the gap between education and workplace realities and taught me that competence is not defined by qualifications alone, but by the ability to deliver results. After working with thousands of job seekers, graduates, and professionals, I recognized the need for practical career guidance, as many talented individuals have strong potential but lack the exposure and direction to position themselves for opportunities. This inspired my focus on career development, with a mission to equip students, graduates, and professionals with the skills, strategies, and workplace competencies employers value. By combining HR experience, technology, and partnerships with universities, professional bodies, and companies, I aim to bridge the gap between education and employment. My advice has always been simple: there is a difference between a job and a career. A job earns income, while a career is a purposeful journey of growth, achievement, and impact, built through intentional choices, the right competencies, and a commitment to lifelong learning. My passion is not just to help people find jobs, but to help them build meaningful careers founded on competence, character, adaptability, and continuous growth, turning potential into performance and qualifications into lasting success.
