I am an educator and a dedicated career counsellor with 15 years of experience in education and student mentoring and a strong passion for guiding students towards meaningful academic and career pathways. My background as an educator has given me a deep understanding of students at different stages of their academic journey and enables me to recognise their individual strengths, interests, aspirations, aptitude, personality and learning preferences. Having completed my professional training in career counselling , I follow a structured, student centric and evidence based approach to career guidance. I believe that choosing a career should not be based only on marks, popular career choices, peer pressure or parental expectations. Instead career choices should emerge from a deeper understanding of the individual students and the opportunities available to them. Through one on one counselling , psychometric assessments and detailed career explorations, I help students understand their profiles, identify suitable career possibilities and explore the courses, universities and educational pathways that best align with their strengths, interests, and inspirations. I encourage students to participate actively in the decision making process rather than simply being given a list of recommended careers. As an educator, I understand that career decisions can sometimes feel confusing and overwhelming , both for students and their families. I therefore aim to create a supportive and non judgemental environment where students can openly discuss their aspirations, concerns and uncertainties. My role is to provide clear information, practical guidance and an unbiased perspective while respecting each students individuality and aspirations. At Meridian Career Advisory, my aim is not to choose a career for a student, but to equip them with greater self awareness, relevant information and a structured decision making process. Ultimately , I want every student I work with to be able to make informed academic and career choices with greater clarity, confidence and ownership of their future.
