About the Professional

I am Capt Sheetal Sharma Retd, a Certified Career Counsellor, NLP Master Practitioner, Life Coach and Counselling Psychologist with a multidisciplinary background in leadership, psychology and student development. Following five years of distinguished service in the Indian Army, I transitioned into the field of Life coaching, counselling and career guidance with the objective of empowering students and professionals to make informed academic and career decisions. I hold a Masters degree in Psychology and a Bachelor of Education, which have equipped me with a strong understanding of human behaviour, learning processes and counselling methodologies. I am a Certified Career Analyst, trained in the scientific administration and interpretation of psychometric assessments. My professional practice integrates evidence-based assessment tools with personalised counselling to provide comprehensive career guidance. Through my counselling practice, Phoenix Resolve, I work with school students, college students, graduates and working professionals. My services include career planning, subject selection, stream selection, college and course guidance, career transitions and psychometric assessment based counselling. I help clients identify their interests, aptitudes, personality traits, learning styles and career motivators, enabling them to make well-informed educational and professional choices aligned with their strengths and aspirations. My counselling philosophy is centred on ethical practice, empathy, confidentiality and continuous professional development. I believe that every individual has unique potential and effective career counselling requires a personalised approach that combines scientific assessment with meaningful dialogue and practical guidance. I remain committed to staying updated with evolving career pathways, higher education opportunities and global employment trends to ensure my clients receive relevant and future-oriented advice. As an education and career development professional, I am dedicated to promoting informed decision making, lifelong learning and holistic career development. I aspire to contribute to the advancement of the counselling profession by adhering to internationally recognized standards of practice and by supporting individuals in achieving fulfilling academic and professional journeys in an increasingly global and dynamic world.
