I am a highly experienced maritime professional, educator, and career advisor with over 43 years of distinguished service in the global shipping industry. I served as a Master Mariner for more than 20 years, commanding crude oil tankers, Very Large Crude Carriers, product tankers, and chemical tankers on international voyages across major global trade routes. My career has taken me to numerous countries and provided extensive exposure to diverse cultures, international regulations, and multinational work environments, enabling me to develop a broad global perspective and strong cross-cultural leadership skills. I pursued higher education in Australia and the United Kingdom, further strengthening my professional and academic foundation, and throughout my maritime career, I remained committed to the highest standards of safety, professionalism, regulatory compliance, and leadership. Beyond sailing, I contributed to maritime education by teaching at a maritime college in Pune, where I shared my practical knowledge and industry experience with aspiring seafarers. Since 2017, I have been actively involved in career counselling and educational guidance, helping students and young professionals make informed decisions about their academic and career pathways in India and abroad. Through honest advice, practical insights, and decades of international experience, I have guided numerous individuals towards successful futures.
