I am Dr. Sucheta Kolekar, a Certified Career Counsellor, Educator, and Researcher who is passionate about helping students discover their strengths, gain clarity about their future, and make confident career decisions. Throughout my journey, I have had the opportunity to interact with and mentor students from diverse backgrounds, guiding them through important academic and career choices. I understand that choosing the right career path can often feel overwhelming due to the many options, expectations, and uncertainties involved. My counselling approach focuses on understanding each individual’s unique interests, abilities, aspirations, and challenges. I believe that every student has the potential to succeed when provided with the right guidance, encouragement, and direction. Through personalized counselling, active listening, and structured career guidance, I help students explore suitable career opportunities, identify their strengths, align their goals with their interests, and develop a clear roadmap for their future. My objective is not only to help students choose a career but also to build their confidence, self-awareness, and decision-making abilities. I believe in creating a supportive and non-judgmental space where students feel valued, understood, and empowered to make informed decisions about their future. Additionally, I am an academician, researcher, certified career counsellor, and mentor with over 20 years of experience in education, research, and student development. My areas of expertise include Artificial Intelligence, Human Computer Interaction HCI, Adaptive E-Learning, IoT, and Entrepreneurship. I hold a Ph.D. in Adaptive E-Learning from Manipal Academy of Higher Education MAHE, where my research focused on personalized learning models, intelligent tutoring systems, and data-driven educational approaches. Throughout my career, I have been passionate about helping students discover their strengths, make informed academic and career decisions, and unlock their full potential. My work combines technology, research, and mentoring to create meaningful learning experiences and practical solutions to real-world challenges. I have published more than 40 research papers in reputed national and international journals and conferences, and my contributions to adaptive learning have been recognized through the E-Learning Excellence Award. In addition to research, I have actively mentored students in academic projects, higher education planning, innovation, and entrepreneurship. I have guided numerous students in developing research projects, publishing papers, participating in hackathons, and transforming innovative ideas into impactful solutions. As a co-inventor of healthcare patents and a strong advocate of interdisciplinary innovation, I believe in nurturing creativity, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills. My counselling and mentoring approach is structured on understanding each individual’s aspirations, strengths, and challenges. I strive to provide personalized guidance that empowers students to make confident decisions, build self-belief, and create successful and fulfilling academic and professional journeys.
