Mariam Haque Mousumi

Currently, I am working as the pioneer and sole Career Counsellor at Glenrich International School, Satarkul. I joined a little over a year ago and have been contributing to establishing the career counselling department, which is now one year old and preparing to graduate its first batch of students and see them flourish in their dream and best-fit universities. As a school, we follow the Cambridge curriculum, and I am proud of the progress and support we have built for our students. With over 12 years of experience, I am a dedicated and resilient Career Counsellor guiding students and professionals toward successful education and career pathways. My expertise includes student subject selection, undergraduate application support, career counselling, and organizing workshops on essay and personal statement writing, scholarship applications, university profiles, and more. As a certified UK knowledge trained counsellor by Uk agent and counsellor training. I am proud to be accredited by Times Higher Education and to serve as a member of ICC Club and as a mentor at the International Association for College Admission Counseling (IACAC). Additionally, I have collaborated with Education USA's EMK Centre to facilitate student and counsellor training events. Beyond my counselling work, I bring extensive project management experience, specializing in planning, budgeting, and organizing major events such as Career Weeks, Alumni Meets, University Fairs, and Conferences. As a working mother and educator, I understand the importance of balancing personal and professional life. I continually apply my knowledge and innovative thinking to support my clients and community. My goal is to help individuals build meaningful educational pathways aligned with their career aspirations and current market trends.
