Education has the power to shape academic success, but its greatest impact lies in helping individuals discover their purpose, recognise their potential, and make confident decisions about their future. That belief has shaped every stage of my professional journey and continues to guide the work I do today. Throughout my professional journey, I have had the privilege of working with students, professionals, and families from diverse cultural and educational backgrounds, supporting them through some of life's most significant decisions—from choosing subjects and universities to navigating career transitions and discovering meaningful pathways for the future. These experiences have reinforced one enduring truth: the most meaningful outcomes are not achieved through information alone, but through self-awareness, confidence, and informed decisions that align with an individual's strengths, values, and aspirations. My professional journey began in mathematics education and academic leadership, where I taught, mentored, and guided students through important academic milestones while supporting colleagues and contributing to school improvement initiatives. Working across diverse international educational settings provided invaluable opportunities to understand the unique challenges and aspirations of learners from different backgrounds. Over time, my passion naturally evolved beyond the classroom into a deeper commitment to helping individuals understand themselves, navigate uncertainty, and make purposeful decisions about their education, careers, and personal development. I hold a Master of Science in Mathematics First Proficiency and a Master of Education in Educational Leadership and Management, together with internationally recognised credentials in career development, including the Facilitating Career Development FCD certification from the National Career Development Association NCDA, USA, and the Career Development Assessment Practitioner International License CDAP-IL. These qualifications have enabled me to combine evidence-based career development practices—including psychometric assessments, strengths-based approaches, and structured career planning—with a personalised, compassionate, and holistic approach to guidance. This vision inspired me to establish Miraaya – Education & Career Advisory, founded on the belief that every individual deserves the opportunity to make informed, confident, and purposeful decisions about their future. Whether supporting a student exploring subject choices, guiding a family through university admissions, helping a professional navigate a career transition, or assisting organisations in developing their people, my role is not to determine the path for others. Rather, it is to provide the guidance, insight, and support that empowers individuals to discover the path that is right for them. At the heart of my work is a simple philosophy: every individual has a unique purpose waiting to be discovered. I do not believe in one-size-fits-all advice, nor do I believe confidence comes from being told what to do. True confidence grows from feeling understood, recognising one's potential, and making decisions that genuinely reflect who we are.
