Have 20+ years of work experience spanning multiple industry categories. During the initial 10 years of my career, I was associated with companies engaged in IT Networking, Software, Data Management, Talent Export, Placement, Recruitment and Food Processing. As a Freelancer, have undertaken assignments, in the area of secondary data research and social work. In subsequent years I started working with students and parents as educator, behavioural and career counsellor. With corporates, in the field of Human Resources, I have managed teams for a wide spectrum of tasks, such as Role profiling, Recruitment, Training (need identification, implementation and effectiveness evaluation), Manpower Rationalization, Office Administration, Counselling of Employees, Grievance Handling and Outsourcing IT professional to Corporate Clients. Have undertaken Design, Development and Implementation projects, in areas such as Compensation / Salary Structuring and Disbursal, Performance Appraisal, Reward and Recognition, Pay Roll processing etc. My Passion for giving back to Society drew me to CSR and be associated with societies promoted by corporations, working in the fields of Health, Education, Women Empowerment and skill development. Emphasis was on training women in vocational Skills, i.e. Chikankari, Stitching, Candle making, and Jute bag making and organizing them in Self Help Groups, for Self-Empowerment and becoming Self-Reliant. I am a postgraduate diploma holder in counselling and family therapy from IGNOU, A Certified Career counsellor by Mentoria, also a Post Graduate Diploma holder in Human Resource Management and Marketing, from the Institute of Management Sciences and Productivity Research (Delhi Productivity Council), My post-graduation (MA) is in Human Geography from Delhi School of Economics. As a passionate educator, have been involved in curriculum and content design for small children, conducting sessions for teachers and parents for effective teaching, and designing fun learning methods for children. Am a creative individual, a certified artist from Prayag Sangeet Sameeti, in visual art forms, such as sketching and painting. I believe learning is a lifelong journey and am passionate about helping people, to help themselves.
