Syed Hassan Abdullah is a dedicated professional committed to empowering students and professionals with the skills, confidence, and mindset required to thrive in both career and life. He currently serves as Senior Manager – Soft Skills at Woxsen University, bringing over eight years of rich experience in career development, communication, and behavioural training across academia and industry. He is a Licensed Career Development Professional (ICCC, UK) and holds several global certifications, including Certified Career Services Provider (NCDA, USA), International Certified Career Coach (CDA, USA & Mindler, India), Strong Interest Inventory® Practitioner (The Myers-Briggs Company, Australia), Soft Skills Trainer (NABET – India), and Happiness Coach (Transformation Academy, USA). These credentials reflect his commitment to global standards in guiding learners toward meaningful, impactful careers. Syed began his professional journey in Human Resources at PepsiCo India, where he gained experience in talent acquisition, compensation, and employee engagement. With a passion for bridging the skill gap, he later transitioned into academia with the mission of preparing students to become confident, industry-ready professionals. Over the years, he has mentored more than 5,000 learners, led numerous high-impact learning programs, and designed interventions in career and life skills, personality development, image consulting, interview and resume readiness, public speaking, and personal branding. Previously, he served as Associate Dean – Training & Development at the ICBM-School of Business Excellence, Hyderabad, where he spearheaded training initiatives and student development programs. He is currently pursuing a Ph.D. in Management (HR) from IBS Hyderabad, further deepening his expertise in the field. Alongside his institutional roles, he actively contributes to the global career development community as Program Committee Co-Chair at the Asia Pacific Career Development Association (APCDA, USA) and as a member of BCFAI. Beyond his professional endeavours, Syed is a martial artist, sports enthusiast, and marathon runner who believes in continuous growth, discipline, and lifelong learning.
