l am L.PadmaSwathy a Counselling Psychologist and Certified Career Counsellor with 9 years of experience working in the mental health care industry. My training as a career counsellor and career guidance has helped individuals choose the right stream or careers which are most suitable for them. I have worked in quite a few educational institutions as a School Psychologist / Counselor and as a Career Counselor at the State Career Guidance Centre, Department of Employment &Training, Government of Tamil Nadu in Chennai. Over the years I have honed my skills in Individual Counselling, Working with Adolescents, Student Counseling, Career Counselling and Assessment, stress management, Marital counselling, Art Therapy and Geriatric Counselling. Trained and certified in using and interpreting the Career Assessment & Counselling assessment tool of Pearson India - MCMF (My Choice My Future); and also a completed International Certified Career Coach Program (Foundation Level-1) organized by Mindler and various other assessment tools. Trained and certified in the Promotion of Geriatric Mental Health workshop conducted by Vayomanasa Sanjeevani Geriatric Clinic & Services, NIMHANS, Bangalore. I hold the Memberships including Registered Professional Counselor (RPC) Member of the Chennai Counselor's Foundation, Life Member of the Tamilnadu Career Counselors Association ( TNCCA), Associate Member of the International Stress Management Association, Life Member of the International School and Psychologist Association (India) InSPA
