Prof. Mohideen Abdul Kamal

Hello, my name is Mohideen Abdul Kamal, and I am a teaching faculty member in Business Studies specialized in Marketing at Vocational College A'Seeb, Muscat, Oman. I have 18 years of experience in teaching Business and Management courses. In addition to teaching, I have experience in admissions, training, and placement. I worked with students to prepare them for the job market, providing guidance and resources for internships, job interviews, and career development. I have also worked with companies to facilitate the recruitment, placement, and training of students. I am passionate about helping students achieve their academic and professional goals. I received my MBA in Marketing and Finance from Andhra University and my M.Phil. Degree in Management from Madurai Kamaraj University. My research interests include Services Marketing and Entrepreneurship, and I have published several articles in academic journals such as the Indian Journal of Marketing and the Indian Journal of Finance. In addition to teaching, I have also served as an academic advisor, helping students to navigate their academic journey and achieve success. I have also been involved in career counselling and mentoring, which has allowed me to connect with students outside of the classroom and create a supportive community. Furthermore, I have extensive experience in career counselling, providing one-on-one guidance to students to help them identify their strengths, interests, and career aspirations. They have helped numerous students secure their dream jobs and have assisted them in developing a career path that aligns with their goals. As a teaching faculty member, I believe in creating an inclusive and engaging learning environment that fosters critical thinking, creativity, and collaboration. My teaching style is student-centred, and I strive to create a supportive and respectful classroom where students can learn, grow, and succeed.
